Webster, MA / Fayetville, NC - David A. Peters, 81, passed away at the Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetville, NC on November 10, 2019.

David is survived by his wife of sixty-one years Bobbie A. (Tew) Peters; two sons: William Peters and his wife Shannon of Plainfield, CT, and Scott Peters of Webster; two daughters: Patricia A. Comely of Webster and Donna L. Peters of Plainfield, CT; his brother Larry Peters of Webster; seven grandchildren: Karlee Ann Giroux, Anthony D. Giroux, William Peters Jr., Derrick Peters, Mackenzie Peters, Caitlin Peters, and Nina Peters; he also leaves seven great-grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends.  David was predeceased by his son David peters, and his sister Patricia Jolda of Webster.

David was born in Webster, MA on August 9, 1938 son of the late Walter and Carrie (Pizzetti) Peters; he was an electrician, working at Cranston Print for many years. David resided  in Webster for most of his life before retiring to North Carolina in 2000; he served honorably in the United states Army during the Korean War.  David was a music enthusiast, and was a drummer for the Flash Backs Band.  David loved fishing, gardening, and spending time with those he loved.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday November 27, 2019 at 9:30 am in Mount Zion Cemetery in Webster, MA.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Worcester, MA.

In lieu of flowers, David's family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Webster-Dudley Veteran's Council, Veteran's Way Webster, MA 01570.
