Webster – Donald E. Kilborn Sr., 91, was called home on the anniversary of his beloved wife’s passing on Wednesday November 4, 2020.
Being predeceased by his wife Rose A. (Ziak) Kilborn, Donald is survived by his daughter Cheryl Jolda and her husband Chris of Webster; his son Donald E. Kilborn Jr. and his companion Tammy Copley of Danvers, MA; his brother Malcom Kilborn and his wife Jean of Texas; he also leaves three grandchildren: Tara Jolda and her companion Jordan Cormier, Jesse Jolda, and Ashley Jolda; his great-grandson Mason Soucy; he also leaves nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; he was predeceased by his brothers Richard, George, and William Kilborn; he was also predeceased by his sisters Winifred Ledeuc and Marge Putnam.
Donald was born in Danielson, CT on June 29, 1929, son of the late George and Pearl (Patience) Kilborn; he lived in Webster for most of his life. Donald graduated from Bartlett High School in 1949; he worked for Montrose Products and Pratt & Whitney for many years, it was not uncommon for Donald to put in a sixty-hour work week. Most recently Donald worked at Shaw’s Supermarket; he enjoyed spending quality time with his beautiful family and friends, he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Donald enjoyed Polka dancing and listening to Polka bands.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday November 8, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA. The funeral service will be on Monday November 9, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home; committal will follow in St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery in Webster.
