Donald Henry McKinstry
1947 - 2024
Webster - Donald H. McKinstry, age 77, passed away, after a long illness on December 31, 2024, at Webster Manor, where he was a resident.
He was the son of George and Helen (Fournier) McKinstry and is survived by his daughter, Kerrie McKinstry-Jett and her husband Christopher of Agawam; his siblings, Ellen Christian of Charlton, Kenny McKinstry and his wife Emma of Charlton, and Frieda McKinstry, also of Charlton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Billy Mason and George McKinstry III.
Affectionately known as "Dino", he was a very kind and loving person with a passion for classic rock. As a plasterer, he created many beautiful and artistic plaster ceilings. He also liked classic cars and hunting. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton, MA, and the Liberty Club.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours for Donald on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 am followed by a service at 11:00 am in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster. A graveside service will follow in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton. A memorial guestbook is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
