Doris J. (Faford) Ewings

Webster- Doris J. (Faford) Ewings age 83 passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care, Worcester.  She leaves a son Robert J. Desabre of Brooklyn, CT a daughter Anita and her husband John Cody, she also leaves grandchildren Heath Cody and his wife Adriane, Nicholas, Cody, Chad, Amber, Ryan and Kyle Desabre and several great grandchildren.  Doris also has a sister, Theresa A. Walton of Union, CT.  Doris was born in Dudley, daughter of the late Joseph Faford and Rita (Ritchie) Faford and lived in Webster and Dudley all her life. She worked  for Webster Lens for 31 years and in later years, at Hubbard Regional Hospital as a nutritional assistant. She was a faithful member of the Tri-State Baptist Church, a member of the Black Tavern, and a member of the Crawford Library in Dudley.

Calling hour will be held in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster Thursday, January 18, 2024, 10:00 AM, with a Service at 11: AM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tri- State Baptist Church, 386 Rd., North Grosvenordale, CT. 06255.
