Edmond A. Desrosiers Jr.
1944 - 2026
With heavy hearts and profound respect, we announce the passing of Edmond A. Desrosier Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 82.
Born on January 3, 1944, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Edmond was the cherished son of Edmond Desrosiers Sr. and Phyllis (Sanderson) Desrosiers. Edmond's life was a testament to dedication, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and community. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
On September 13, 2008, Edmond married Catherine (Crepeau) Desrosiers, with whom he shared 18 wonderful years. Together, they built a warm and loving home in Dudley, Massachusetts, filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories.
Edmond was the proud father of five children: Erik Desrosiers and his fiancé Jacquelyn Manzi of Woodstock, CT; April Baldwin and her husband Charles of Webster, MA; Roy Desrosiers and his wife Becky of Webster, MA; Cory Desrosiers and his companion Stephanie Layte of Webster; and Ryan Desrosiers of Paxton, MA. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Robin Remillard of Millville, MA, and Kim Stockwell of Douglas, MA. His family was the center of his universe, and he was a devoted grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, each one holding a special place in his heart; and by his loving sister, Regina Penny of Thompson, CT
Edmond's career was marked by dedication and hard work. He spent many years at Cranston Print in Webster, where his commitment and professionalism earned the admiration of colleagues and friends. Later, he continued his service to the community by working for the State of Massachusetts Highway Department.
Edmond found great joy in the great outdoors, where he spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and engaging in various outdoor activities. He was a proud member of the Singletary Club in Sutton, MA.
A graveside service for Edmond, with military honors provided by the Webster-Dudley Veteran's Council will be held on June 8, 2026, at 11:00 am in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley, Massachusetts.
