Eleanor Ruth (Mayotte) Dugan, of Dudley, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2022, at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester. She was 80 years old. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard, in 2013.
She leaves a son, Matthew Dugan of Mashpee, MA; three daughters, Julia Boucher and her husband Tom of King George, VA, Anne Kenny and her husband Ray of Southbridge, MA, and Kathleen Tardy and her husband Steve of Carver,MA; a sister Linda Kitka and her husband Roy of North Grosvenordale, CT; a sister in law Kathleen Gatzke and her husband Bob of Webster, MA; six grandchildren, Nick, Dave, Sarah, Ethan, Cameron and Allison; two great grandchildren, Adeline and Evelyn, and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Webster, daughter of the late Urban Mayotte and Theresa (Lozinski) Mayotte, and moved to Dudley where she lived most of her life. She was a book keeper part time, and spent most of her life caring for her family. She loved to travel, go out to lunch with friends and family, play cards, and read. She was very kind and loved to help people during trying times by cooking meals for them, or offering help and support in any way that she could. She also loved her church, Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Dudley, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday July 15, 2022. Burial at Calvary Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road, Dudley, MA 01571.
