Eugene Field

Worcester - Eugene Field, 85 passed into eternity on July 18,2023.

He was the son of Eugene and Mary Field, both deceased, brother to Louise King and Patricia Oloughlin. He leaves Two daughters, Laurie Powers of Florida and Lynn Oliver of New Hampshire as well as 2 grandchildren, Heather Powers of Florida and Robert Oliver of New Hampshire and several nephews and nieces.

Gene lived in Worcester his whole life, attending Worcester Schools.  After having worked several manufacturing jobs, Gene, like his father and grandfather before him, became a bus driver having worked 17 years for Worcester regional transit Authority retiring in 2000. After retiring he enjoyed reading, taking long walks, and playing cards with former coworkers.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
