Webster/North Attleborough – Evelyn Fontaine, 67, passed away on Thursday January 16, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital while surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn is survived by two daughters: Jessica Plante and her husband Richard of Webster, and Melissa Beaupre and her husband Tom of South Attleborough; her brother Wayne Coppage; two sisters: Christine Rundell of Hudson and Marissa DeMirelle of Beverly; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Evelyn was born in Bramburg, Germany on May 26, 1952, daughter of Sherman and Alice (Dressler) Coppage. Evelyn was brought up in Foxborough, graduating from High School in 1970; she moved to North Attleborough in 1974 where she raised her daughters, moving to Webster only a few years ago. Evelyn was an avid gardener, loving all sorts of flowers and plants; she also enjoyed reading. Above all of life’s simple pleasures that Evelyn so greatly enjoyed, was the special bond that Evelyn had with her daughters, for they were always together; they were the very closest and best of friends. Evelyn also had wonderful relationships with her six grandchildren and her great-grandchild, most recent photos of Evelyn will show just how much time she spent with them and how she adored them all; “Gee Gee”, as Evelyn was called, will be sorely missed by her family and by all who were blessed to know her; she was a strong willed fighter who would never give up. “Gee Gee” will live on in our hearts and minds forever.
Close family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Evelyn’s Life on Saturday January 25, 2020 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home. 48 School Street Webster, MA.
