Frances Bernard Obituary

Dudley – Frances G. (Tkacik) Bernard, 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep while surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home on Saturday January 8, 2022.

Frances was born in Dudley, MA on July 24, 1936, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Androsko) Tkacik.  Frances worked as an accountant for the American Antiquarian Society prior to her retirement; she enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Being predeceased by her husband Raymond W. Bernard, Frances is survived by her daughters Jane Bradshaw of North Smithfield, RI, Julie Bernard and her fiancée Kevin Bridges of Saco, ME, and Jana Demers and her husband Jeff of Dudley with which she made her home; predeceased by two brothers Joseph Tkacik of Thompson, CT and Edward Tkacik of Southbridge and Dick Tkacik of Webster; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She also leaves close friends and care givers, Tarah Traina, Jackie Duval, Jack and Rose Sadowsky.

Private funeral arrangement have been entrusted to the Care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
