Oxford- Francis R. Brown age 81 died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Brookside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Webster.  He was the husband of the late Minnie (Dunphe) Brown.  He leaves 4 sons; Daniel Brown of TN, Matthew and Michael Brown, the late Larry Phillips  of MA and a daughter Theresa Mears of Florida. He also leaves a grandson which he raised Larry Mansfield  He also leaves a brother Carl Brown of Webster and a sister Lillian Kroeger of Texas, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by another brother Donald Brown and a sister Mildred Mederios.
He was born in Worcester son of the late Joseph and Mary (Baumgardt) Brown and lived in Oxford most of his life. He was a US Air Force Veteran of Korea.
There are no calling hours.  Graveside ceremony with military honors, 11 AM, Wednesday May18, 2016 at  Corbin Cemetery, Dudley.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to a charity of donor’s choice.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with his arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or a memory.
