Gerald J. Marand

Woodstock, CT – Gerald J. Marand, 86, passed away on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at the Villa Maria Nursing Home in Plainfield.

Gerald was born in Southbridge, MA on January 24, 1937, son of the late Arthur J. and Lillian (Bachand) Marand; he served honorably in the United States Navy and worked at Crabtree & Evelyn for many years prior to his retirement.

Gerald is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Rae J. (Fredette) Marand; his son John Marand of Vermont; his daughter Jaime Marand of North Carolina; his brother Russell Marand of Plainfield; he also leaves thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; he was predeceased by his son Todd Williams; his daughters Joanne Jordan and Tammy Dart; his brother Donald Marand, and his sister Emily Buckner.

At Gerald’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
