Germaine “Gerry” (Bugan) Wentworth
1940 – 2024
Webster – Germaine “Gerry” (Bugan) Wentworth, age 84, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at UMass Memorial Health Care – Harrington Campus, Southbridge.
She leaves her former husband, Gordon D. Wentworth Sr., former Fire Chief of the Webster Fire Department; a son, Webster Police Lieutenant Gordon D. Wentworth Jr. and his wife Kristina, a brother, Richard Bugan and a sister, Eleanor Doros; two grandchildren, Amelia and Charlotte. She was predeceased by two brothers, David Bugan and Raymond, Druzbicki; also by two sisters, Irene Burzycki and Shirley Sokolowski.
Gerry was born in Webster, daughter of the late Stephen and Lucy (Kaliszewski) Bugan and lived in Webster all her life. She retired from the Town of Webster, where she worked as the Board Administrator of the Webster Retirement System. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, skiing, cooking, baking, and being with her grandchildren. Her whole world revolved around spending time with her grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is honored to assist with Gerry’s arrangements.
