Gordon D. Dubois

Danielson, CT- Gordon D. DuBois age 67 passed away after a long illness with his loving family at his side.  He leaves his wife Denise T. (Hubert) DuBois, a daughter Kristen LaPensee and her husband Jeffrey of Thompson, CT, a son-in-law Matthew Marotte of Griswold, CT, grandchildren, Ajaniq, Dale, Meagan, Melanie, Matthew Jr., Drew and Jace.  He also leaves stepsons, Christopher Basinet of Killingly and Brian Basinet of Thompson.   He is also survived by a brother, Donald DuBois, and his wife Nancy, two brothers-in-law, Paul Hubert and Richard Hubert and his wife Susan as well as several nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his daughter Jessica Marrotte of Griswold, CT.   Gordon cherished his dog Coco, his two cats Maxx and Sissy.

Gordon was born in Putnam, CT, son of the late Isadore DuBois and Leona (Rondeau) DuBois and lived in Danielson most of his life.  Gordon was a truck driver most of his life.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, deep sea fishing, woodworking, and general tinkering.

There are no calling hours, a graveside service will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 9 AM in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Putnam, CT. Please omit flowers and make donations in his memory to the Day Kimball Hospital Oncology Dept. or the Day Kimball Hospital Hospice.
