Helen Zenon Obituary

Helen K. Zenon

June 19th 1949 – September 16th 2025

Helen K. Zenon, beloved wife, mother, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, at the age of 76.

Born on June 19, 1949, in New York City, Helen later made Webster, Massachusetts her home, where she built a life rooted in faith, family, and dedicated her life teaching foreign students in the Worcester Public School System, to learn English and adopt to the American culture. Helen had a special gift for helping her students not only learn English but also navigate their new lives in the American fabric. Helen was not a 7-3 Monday to Friday teacher but made herself available to her students 24/7. Helen’s giving heart touched hundreds of students and helped them find their own American Dream.

Helen was a devoted member of Saint Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church and an active participant in the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society. She found joy in her faith, in giving back to her community, and in supporting causes close to her heart, including the American Cancer Society. For some ten years, Helen taught Sunday School in her Church in Webster.

In her free time, Helen loved creating handcrafted jewelry and sharing her creativity with her friends and playing her violin and piano. Her kindness, warmth, and dedication left an enduring impact on all who knew her. Helen is survived by her loving husband and her two children. Helen will be remembered for her generous spirit, her passion for teaching, and her unwavering love for her family and her Church.
