Obituary

Moosup- Irene D. (Abram) Bellavance age 88 passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the West View Nursing Care Center, Dayville, CT.

Irene was born in West Thompson, CT on June 16, 1934, daughter of the late John and Alberta (Wormell) Abram; she worked for the U.S. Post Office in Moosup for many years prior to her retirement.  Irene enjoyed reading, quilting, knitting, and crocheting.

She was the wife of the late Gerald E. Bellavance who died in 2011,  She leaves three sons David and his wife Brenda Coutu, John and his wife Mary Bellavance of Central Village, and Michael and his wife Leslie Coutu of Sterling; her stepson Christopher Bellavance of Moosup; two step daughters Lisa Bellavance of Woodstock and Michelle Rit of Moosup; She also leaves a sister Eva Thornton of SC, several grandchildren, three great grandchildren; she was predeceased by four brothers.

Services will ne scheduled and announced at a later date.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
