James O. Bugbee Jr.
1937 – 2024

Dudley – James O. Bugbee Jr., age 87, beloved husband of Alice (Szczepaniak) Bugbee, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at UMASS Memorial-Harrington Hospital in Southbridge.

James was born in Milford, MA, son of the late James O. Sr. and Ruth (McNulty) Bugbee. On March 2, 1957, James and Alice were married at Saint Joseph’s Church in Webster.  He was a carpenter by trade.

In addition to his wife of 67 years, Alice, he is survived by his sons, Thomas M. Bugbee and his wife Marie of Dudley, Ronald W. Bugbee and his wife Marcella of Webster; a daughter, Brenda E. Bugbee of Oakhill, FL.; two sisters, Pauline Mahoney of Connecticut and Joan Germain of Brookfield; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.  He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth J. Bugbee; by a brother, Paul Bugbee and by a sister, Phyllis Kiley.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 10:00 am in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster.  There are no calling hours.  A memorial guestbook is available at www.shaw-majercik com.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with James’ arrangements.
