Dayville, CT- Jerry W. Johnson Jr., age 28, died Thursday, June 23, 2016, in a swimming accident.  

He leaves a son, Jerry W. Johnson and a daughter, Allisa Johnson, both of Danielson; a brother, William G. Johnson of Worcester; two sisters, Marie Hedge of Melbourne, Florida and Kathy Johnson of Dunnellen, Florida; his mother Ann Marie (West) Johnson of Melbourne, Florida; his maternal grandparents William and Helen (Gatto) West of Melbourne, Florida.
  
He was born in Fort Worth, Texas. son of Ann Marie (West) Johnson and the late Jerry W. Johnson Sr. and lived in Melbourne, Florida before moving here three years ago.  Jerry was a maintenance man and was employed by Wal-Mart in Putnam, CT.  He enjoyed mechanical work, fishing, camping and loved the outdoors.
