East Brookfield – John D. Twomey Jr, 80, passed away at home on Friday June 26, 2020 while surrounded by his loving family and caregivers.

John is survived by his son John Twomey of RI; his brother Thomas Twomey of TN; his sister Betty Twomey of RI; his sister-in-law Lisa M. Perry of East Brookfield; several grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; he was predeceased by his wife Joan R. (Snow)Twomey, and three sons: Joseph, Mark Anthony, and Dana M. Twomey.

John was born in Providence, RI on October 27, 1939; he served honorably in the United States Air Force. John owned and operated Twomey Transportation for many years prior to his retirement; he was a hot rod enthusiast, and greatly enjoyed being in the company of his family and friends.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
