Webster- (John) David Adams, 85, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Friday, January 29, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dave was born in Hopkinton, MA on November 30, 1935, the son of the late Clement W. and Barbara Page Adams; prior to retirement Dave worked as a hearing aid specialist for Better Hearing Solutions in Worcester; he managed Thunderbird Bowl in Auburn for many years and did color commentating with Bob Fouracre and Frank Carpano on Bay State Bowling; he was a past winner of the T & G Candlepin Bowling Tournament; he also managed a Little League All Star Team in Oxford.
Dave enjoyed playing poker at Foxwoods and with his grandchildren, listening to jazz, doing crossword puzzles and enjoyed all sports, especially the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. Dave was most pleased when he was able to spend quality time with his family, especially his beloved children and grandchildren.
Dave will be deeply missed by his wife, Doreen (DiGregorio) Adams, to whom he has been wed for fifty-nine years, his children, Jeffrey Adams of Oxford, Kimberley LaTulippe and her husband, Eric of Oxford, Christopher Adams and his fiancee Ann Daniels Wright of Whitinsville, and Stephen Adams and his wife, Lisa, of Rutland; his grandchildren, Nicholas Packard, Katrina Roman and her husband, David, Abigail Adams, Vivian Adams, twins Bryce and Elisabeth Adams, Beau Adams and Brody Adams and two great granddaughters, Hannah and Hailey Roman, and his brother, Paul Adams and his wife, Kathy, of Natick and his nieces, Lia, Sophie and Emma Adams.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to a charity of one’s choice in honor of Dave.
