Dudley- Joseph M. Sterczala age 96 passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Harrington Healthcare, Webster. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Langavin) Sterczala who died in in 2003.
He leaves his daughter, Jean M. McHugh of Dudley, 2 sons, Paul M. Sterczala and his wife Janice of Webster, Michael R. Sterczala and his wife Carolinda of Acton, eight grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
He was born in Worcester, son of the late Stanley M. Sterczala and Anna M. (Renkowski) and lived in Dudley most of his life. He was a retired textile worker, working as a shift supervisor at Cranston Print Works for many years. He was a WWII Us Navy veteran. Joseph was a member of the American Legion, PAV, and enjoyed puzzles and baking. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Webster, MA. Please omit flowers and donations may be made to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster has been entrusted with his arrangements. A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle. Burial with military honors will be at a later date.
