Webster – Juana “Wita” Navedo, 89, passed away on the evening of Thursday January 19, 2023 with her loving family by her side.
Juana was born in Naranjito, Puerto Rico on July 8, 1933, daughter of the late Raymond and Guillermina (Ortiz) Vazquez; she moved to Webster in 1966 and worked for B & W for many years prior to her retirement. Juana enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time wither her family.
Being predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Felix Navedo in 2020 and her three sons: Hector Rodriguez, Ramon Cintron, and Jose Navedo; she is survived by her daughter Sonia Zayas, and her husband Victor of Dudley; her sisters Carmen Benitez of Webster, and Guadalupe Reyes of Worcester; many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday January 26, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 27, 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Louis Church, 15 Lake Street Webster, MA; Committal will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery.
