Webster – Khamphong Keophaymany, 66, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday July 17, 2020;
He is survived by his wife Lamyay Keophaymany; his son Sombath Keophaymany of Southbridge; five daughters: Kham Yaht of Salina, KS, Julie Phomala of Dudley, Songkane Nikolla and her husband Greg of Sturbridge, Somchet Batangan and her husband Daison of Wichita, KS, and Phonethip Keophaymany of Webster; three brothers; ten grandchildren; he also leaves many relatives and friends.
Khamphong was born in Laos on May 2, 1954; at a young age he joined the Army’s special guerilla unit of which he was an active member for over twenty-five years; moving to the United States in 1991 he worked very hard to raise his large and loving family. Khamphong was one of the friendliest, easy-going people you could ever hope to meet; he greatly enjoyed fishing, spending time with his beloved family and friends; he was always the life of the party and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Calling hours with prayer services will be held on Monday July 20, 2020 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
