Brooklyn, CT - Larry E. McClintock, 83, of Brooklyn CT, passed on March 20, 2022, at home with his family around him. Larry was born to Harold and Leona (Shontz) McClintock and grew up in Kaneville, PA with a large family. He was a Private in the United States Army and served in Germany with the 101st Airborne and 105 Houser Tank Division.
For over thirty years, Larry was employed at Anchor Glass Container in Dayville, CT, retiring in 1996.
He enjoyed restoring antique automobiles (which was his greatest hobby), Hunting, NASCAR and going to the races, meeting with his buddies for breakfast and spending time with family. Larry also enjoyed swimming regularly at the Plainfield Recreation Department for over 15 years.
Larry leaves behind his wife Helen (Hart) McClintock, with whom he had just celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, brother Donald, sister’s Francis, Phyllis and Darlene. He is survived by two siblings, Maurice McClintock and Peggy McClintock- Wheeler. He will be lovingly remembered by sons, Larry E. McClintock and his wife Tina (Tj), Sean McClintock and a daughter Lori (McClintock) Savino and husband Joseph; Grandchildren Jared, Jacob, Carrie and Kelsey; his great-grandchildren Isaac, Sawyer, Mia Grace and Lux, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Larry worshiped at the Church of the Nazarene. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
