Linda J. Pierce
1949-2024
Chicopee, MA - Linda J. (DeWitt) Pierce, age 75, beloved wife of Stanley Pierce, died at home on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Born to the late Velma (Parington) Yvon, Linda was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love knew no bounds. She is survived by her devoted husband, Stanley Pierce of Chicopee, with whom she shared a life filled with love and companionship. She was the cherished mother of Debbie Wheeler of Chicopee and Melissa Newman of West Springfield, as well as the beloved mother of the late Kenneth Wheeler of Springfield. Her heart overflowed with pride as a grandmother to Elisa, Devon, Greg, and Wyatt, and her spirit will continue to shine through her great-grandson Brayden, who brought her immense joy.
Linda was known for her warm smile and kind demeanor, spending many fulfilling years as a sales clerk at a local convenience store.
Linda's love for her family was evident in all that she did. She delighted in every moment shared with them, instilling values of kindness, generosity, and resilience. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Forever remembered and forever missed, Linda leaves a legacy of love that will continue to resonate through her family for generations to come.
