Killingly, CT – Lionel L. Rondeau, 82, passed away at home on Thursday April 29, 2021.
Lionel was born in Putnam, CT on December 7, 1938, son of the late Leonel and Margaret (Leonard) Rondeau; he worked in the construction industry for many years prior to his retirement; he also served honorably in the United States Army. Lionel greatly enjoyed going dancing and spending time with those he loved and those for whom he cared.
Being predeceased by his wife, the late Nancy (Robidoux) Rondeau, Lionel is survived by his former wife Ella Rondeau of Dayville, CT; three daughters: Theresa Preston of Spring Hope,, Margaret Tate and her husband Mitch of Danielson, CT, and Tracy Rondeau of Plainfield, CT; he also leaves his loving sister Doris Mackie of Dayville, CT; his niece Dori Anne of Plainfield, CT; Six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
