Margaret A. (Dashnaw) Vitale
1937 – 2026

Margaret “Peggy” Ann (Dashnaw) Vitale, age 89, of West Boylston, beloved wife of the late Francis “Frank” Vitale, died on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at UMASS Memorial Health Care – University Campus, Worcester.

Peggy was born in Chateaugay, New York, daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Files) Dashnaw.  She was a homemaker and she enjoyed coloring, dolphins and was a television buff, enjoying Scooby-Do and Criminal Minds.  She was also a member of the Webster Senior Center.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Bernice Flood and her husband Roger, with whom she made her home in West Boylston; a son, Charles Dashnaw of Webster; four grandchildren, Dalia Place of North Carolina, Victor Santos Jr. of New York, Luis Santos of Florida and Jasmine Santos of New York; several great-grandchildren.
