Barre – Marilyn J. (Bentley) Stevens, 89, formerly of Washburn Rd, died Saturday, July 26, 2025, at UMass Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Walter Kustra, Charles Dangutis, and Raymond F. Stevens, Sr. Born in Ware, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Marian (Martin) Bentley.
Mrs. Stevens worked for many years as a bus driver for Mac Mae Bus Company.
She enjoyed knitting and going shopping.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Richard Kustra of Westfield, Duane Kustra and his wife Betsy of Virginia Beach, VA, and Lynn Day and her companion Jake Day of Barre; her stepchildren, Raymond Stevens, Jr. and his companion Jackie of Dudley, Michael Stevens and his wife Shirley of Hubbardston, Katherine Hazard of Fitchburg, and Irene Stevens; her sister, Sandra Berquist and her husband Alan of Old Orchard Beach, ME; her daughter in law, Cynthia Kustra of Barre; and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Walter Kustra and her brother, John Bentley.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00AM in Glenn Valley Cemetery, 446 Valley Rd., Barre, MA 01005.
