Mark Timothy "Marky" Lambert

North Grosvenordale, CT – Mark Timothy “Marky” Lambert, 64, passed away at Hartford Hospital on January 11, 2022.  He was born in Putnam, CT to the late Kenneth Lambert and Theresa (Benjamin) Lambert. He graduated from Tourtellotte High School in 1975 and served with Thompson Public Schools as a custodian and crossing guard for 43 years, from 1975 until his retirement in 2019.

Marky will be remembered for his jolliness and having the type of laugh where his eyes smiled and twinkled.  Marky is proof that living a happy life does not need to mean complexity or materialism. Today? Was his favorite question to start each morning, followed by watching Mountain Monsters or any sports game, especially the Red Sox.  He loved fishing, his family, and his beloved K-9 companion, Spidey, who would always alert the family of Marky’s car as soon as he saw the vehicle’s colors.  Marky will be remembered as being funny and always taking care of his family.  When he went to the store to buy something, he bought it for a village.  He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Marky is survived by his mother Theresa Lambert, his sister Donna Witkowski (Joseph), sister Sandra Walmsley (Joseph), brother Kenneth Lambert (Mary), brother Michael Lambert (Sue), and sister Tina Parreira.  He also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father Kenneth Lambert Sr., sister Linda White, and nephew Kevin Witkowski.

Committal Services will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
