North Grosvenordale – Mark Richard Plasse, age 49, beloved husband of Stephanie (Hughes) Plasse, died Monday, May 19, 2025, at home.

Mark was born in Southbridge, MA on January 13, 1976, son of Christyne Plasse.  He worked as a Production Lead at Gentex Optics in Dudley.  He enjoyed playing billiards, Muay Thai martial arts, weightlifting, going for walks and listening to heavy metal bands and attending concerts.  He also loved spending time with his German Shepard, “Magic”.

In addition to his mother Christyne of Webster and his wife Stephanie of North Grosvenordale, Mark is survived by three daughters,  Rebecca Plasse, Sabrina Plasse and Samantha Plasse, all of North Grosvenordale; a brother, Antonio “Tony” Gomes of Webster; two sisters-in-law, Jennifer Baglio and her husband John of Malden, Andrea Carter and her four daughters of Tennessee;  nieces and nephews, Gwen Gomes of Rhode Island, Robert Ridlon of Peabody, Michael Goroshko of Malden, Tristan Goroshko of Medford and Matthew Goroshko of Las Vegas; his Aunt, Marcella Bugbee and her husband Ronald of Webster; and his cousins, Megan Bugbee, Jennifer Plasse and her son Joseph Plasse, Jacob Plasse and Kelly Aubin.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service for Mark on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11 am in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster.  There are no calling hours, please meet directly at the cemetery.  A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster, MA has been entrusted with arrangements.
