Mary H. (Rice) Babbitt

Thompson, CT- Mary H. (Rice) Babbitt, age 92, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, CT.

She was the wife of the late Norman F. Babbitt, who passed away in 2017.  She leaves two brothers, James A. Rice of North Grosvenordale and John J. Rice of Thompson; nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother Edward Rice of New Bedford, and her sisters, Helen Miner of Putnam, Jane Nichols of Brimfield and Genevieve Beaudry of Southbridge.

She was born in Holyoke, MA, daughter of the late James Rice Sr. and Genevieve (Hodak) Rice.  She lived in Thompson most of her life.  Mary enjoyed her yard and doing yard work.
