Webster- Mary R. (Hogan) Barrette age 83 passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late William A. Barrette who died in 1996.
She leaves three sons, William of NH, Andrew of Dudley and Anthony of Webster, five daughters, Anne Robienciezak of Danielson, CT, Mary Barrette of Woodstock, CT, Lisa Bowen and Jean Barrette of Webster, Jennifer Barrette of PA, 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mary also leaves a sister Anne Hogan of Worcester, two brothers Kenneth Hogan of Worcester and Neal Hogan of Holden. She had four brothers which predeceased her, Roger, Ralph, Joseph and Gene Hogan. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late James Hogan and Bertha (Stearn) Hogan and lived in Webster for the past 62 years, prior to that living in the Worcester/Oxford area.
Mary lived her life in service of God and her family, offering the entirety of her heart and soul to all she held dear. She was a devoted Catholic spending many hours each week in adoration at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Mary was always filled with joy when she came across beautiful flowers and unique plants.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 11 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Webster Mass. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Webster, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Webster, Ma. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.
