Dudley – Mary (Mangan) Blanchette, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday April 23, 2021 while at the Genesis Health Care Center in Agawam.
Mary was born in Webster, MA on May 26, 1930, daughter of the late Patrick and Cecelia (Cannalonga) Mangan; she lived in the area all of her life. Mary worked as a secretary at the former Cranston Printworks for many years prior to her retirement; she was also a faithful member of the St. Anthony of Padua Church in Dudley. Mary was a sweet and caring person who instantly earned admiration from all who met her; she enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing, and cooking, but she was most pleased to be with those whom she so deeply loved and care for.
Being predeceased by her beloved husband Rene Blanchette, and her sister Betty Dudek, Mary is survived by two sons: Mark Blanchette of Dudley and Gary Blanchette of Oxford; two daughters: Lisa McTigue of Worcester and Paula Colacchio of Dudley; six grandchildren: Kailey, Tyler, Matthew, Nathan, Patrick, and Anthony.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday April 30, 2021 at the St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road Dudley, MA; Committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Dudley.
