Mary J. O'Quinn Makowski

Worcester- Mary J. O’Quinn Makowski, age 82. passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, at the Blaire House, Worcester. 

She leaves her husband, John W. Makowski Jr.;  two stepdaughters, Lisa Pizzi and Kathryn Cote, both of North Andover; and one granddaughter. She was born in Cambridge, MA, daughter of the late John S. O’Quinn and Katherine T. (Boyle) Quinn and lived in Worcester for many years. 

Mary was an administrative assistant at Mass General Hospital.  At home she enjoyed gardening. 

There are no calling hours.  Services and burial will be announced.  Please omit flowers and donations in her memory to Alzheimer’s Association.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with the arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
