Attawaugan, CT – Michael R. Beaulac, 72, passed away on unexpectedly on Monday December 19, 2022 while at the Day-Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
Michael was born at Day-Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT on June 22, 1950 son of the late Robert R. and Lucille A. (Loiselle) Beaulac; he thoroughly enjoyed his work at Linemaster Switch Company in Woodstock, CT prior to that working for the former Superwinch Inc in Putnam, and the Acme-Chaston. Mike was a past member of the Attawaugan Fire Department. When Mike was 16 he attended at special program for gifted children at the University of Connecticut where he received an award for his achievements, making his parents very proud. Mike was a member of the Killingly High School graduating class of 1968, celebrating their 50th reunion in 2018; he attended the Harvard H. Ellis Trade School, graduating in 1972; he was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, the Boston Celtics, and the Boston Red Sox. Mike was a Communicant of St. Anne's Church in Ballouville, CT until their closing in 2008; he belonged to the Holy Name Bowling Team for many years
Michael is survived by his brother Donald Beaulac and his wife Gladys of Cherry Valley, MA; also leaves several cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially his close friends Edwin O-hop Jr, Linda Marcy, and Bruce LaBelle Michael's family and friends express their utmost gratitude to Mike’s loving care team: Javier Alvarado, Florecilda Alvarado, Elizabeth Hernandez, Armando Carranza, Jennifer Kibe, Linda Brennan, and Tammy Carlson.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday December 29, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday December 30, 2022 at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, 218 Providence Street Putnam, CT. Private Committal Services will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
