With deep sadness we share the passing of Michelle Stelmach on the evening of October 29th at the age of 69. She was born in Webster, Massachusetts and lived in her family home in Dudley.
She worked as a business analyst for Unum (formerly Paul Revere) for 33 years, before becoming a consultant for the Royal Bank of Canada; after which she found her Target family at the Millbury Target. She enjoyed cooking and making floral arrangements, and never showed up to the party empty-handed. She was especially adept at planning and coordinating gift baskets for charity, as well as events with her impeccable eye for a theme. Michelle was always a great source of random facts, which coincides with her love of game shows. She won several contests for her photography throughout the years and had an immense appreciation of art and history. Her love for her friends and family was comparable only to her love for her cat, Kalah.
She is survived by her brothers Bernard Stelmach Jr. and his wife Robin of Foxborough, MA, William Stelmach of Dudley; her nieces: Jessica Stelmach of Putnam, CT, Kelsey Hanson and her husband Christopher, Rebekah Stelmach of Putnam and Emily of Rhode Island; as well as her nephews DJ Stelmach of Dudley and Ben Stelmach of Foxborough, MA. She also leaves behind a grand-nephew, Ian and grand-niece, Mikayla. She is predeceased by her mother, Muriel Stelmach; her father, Bernard C. Stelmach and her brothers Dennis Stelmach and Darren Stelmach.
A celebration of life will be held after the holidays.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Michelle’s name to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA at https://www.mfa.org/give/mfa-fund..
