Patricia "Pat" (Cain) Anderson

Dudley – Patricia “Pat” (Cain) Anderson, 78, passed away on Tuesday May 10, 2022.

Pat was born in Hudson, MA on August 9, 1943, daughter of the late Peter and Lucille (LaFrance) Cain and grew up in Wayland.

She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Dana.  She leaves behind a son Glenn Gibbs of Worcester, her daughter Karen Filby of the United Kingom; her brother Michael E. Cain; her grandchildren Nathaniel Gibbs, Roslyn Gibbs, and Hannah Filby; she also leaves many nieces and nephews.  Pat was predeceased by her sister Sandra Van Valkenburg.

Being the oldest of three, Pat was often called upon to “watch and take care of the kids”.  This watchful caring become second nature to Pat, and my well be why she became a nurse.  Pat demonstrated deep concern for those in her charge; she was a caring friend to those who knew and loved her.  Her compassion and quick laugh will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Per Pat’s request, a private gathering of family and friends will be held to celebrate her life.
