North Oxford - Paula J. (Kop) Hallberg, age 82, formerly of Millbury and Webster, died on Friday, July 12, 2024, at UMASS Memorial Health Care - University Campus, Worcester.
Paula is survived by two brothers, Peter Kop and Edward Kop, both of Florida; by a sister, Virginia Mirra of Delaware; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Hiscoe, by her daughter, Lori Anne Hiscoe and a sister, Jacqueline Shannon.
Paula was born in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late Peter E. and Edith H. (Newell) Kop. She was a retired Certified Nurses Aide and has previously worked many years in the insurance industry. She volunteered as a Den Mother in both the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of America (Brownies). She was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts, knitting and camping with her family.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 10 am in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is honored to have been entrusted with Paula's arrangements.
