Ray A. Choquette
1963 – 2026
Ray A. Choquette, age 62, of Danielson, CT, died Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Hartford Hospital.
Born in Putnam, CT, Ray was the son of the late Raymond (Helen) Choquette and Beverly Colburn. He lived in the Danielson area all of his life.
Ray was a millwright, working in the industrial maintenance field. He has previously been a chef at Zip’s Diner. Ray was an avid beer stein collector and had a passion for all things related to cars.
Ray is survived by his sons, Joshua Choquette and his wife Emily of Moosup, Christopher Choquette of Putnam; a brother, who he lived with and a sister, Ken Colburn,and Barbara Choquette, and mother of his two sons, Melissa Lepage. He also leaves his granddaughter, Maeve Choquette. In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by his brothers, Clint and Arthur; and by a sister, Fran.
At his request, there are no calling hours or funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home and Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster, has been entrusted with arrangements.
