Dudley- Richard A. Burton age 69 passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at University of MA Healthcare Center, Worcester, MA.
He leaves a daughter, Christine Burton of Charlton, two sisters Debra Allard of Charlton and Karen Towle of Millbury. Richard had a brother and a sister who predeceased him, John Burton Jr. of Oxford and Florence Beutler of Whitinsville. He also leaves nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late John Burton Sr. and Rosemarie (Clark) Burton, living in Dudley most of his life. He was a Vietnam Era US Navy Veteran. Richard enjoyed music, camping, and mechanical work on cars. Richards very favorite thing to do was to take extra special care of his daughter Christine and to make her happy.
There are no calling hours, a private funeral for the family will be held at the Winchendon Veterans Cemetery with military honors. Please omit flowers and donations may be made to the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council, Veterans Way, Webster. MA 01570. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with his arrangements.
