Richard Rainey Obituary

Webster – Richard A. Rainey, 72, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday October 7, 2021 while at the Life Care Center of Auburn.

Richard was born in Danielson, CT on September 30, 1949, son of the late Raymond and Helen (Dudek) Rainey; he worked as a Service Manager for AT&T for many years prior to his retirement. Richard was a fan of New England Sports, especially the Patriots and the Red Sox; he was also a fan of NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt being his favorite driver.

Richard will be deeply missed by his loving wife Susan (Doherty) Rainey of Webster; his son Zachary Rainey and his companion Danielle Rafuse of Webster; two brothers: Raymond Rainey and his wife Katherine of FL/KY, and David Rainey and his wife Elizabeth of East Longmeadow, MA; he also leaves nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends; he was recently predeceased by his sister Debra Rainey.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
