North Grosvenordale – Richard J. Ramsey, age 81, husband of Ana Cristina (Castaneda) Ramsey, died Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam.

Richard was born in Charlton, MA, son of the late Robert and Jeannette (Hart) Ramsey and lived in Webster before moving to North Grosvenordale.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  Richard was a self-employed carpenter, who enjoyed oil painting and woodworking.

He leaves his wife Ana Christina; a son, Richard W. Ramsey of Webster; two daughters, Renee Bertrang of Washington State and Michelle Ramsey of Webster; two brothers, Ernest Ramsey of Southbridge and Henry Ramsey of Dudley; two sisters, Shirley Ramsey of Charlton and Jean Chamberland of Charlton; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

There are no calling hours. Private funeral services will be held in the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, Winchendon.  A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with arrangements.
