Rita T. (Desroches) Dion

Dudley- Rita T. (Desroches) Dion age 95 passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Webster Manor. 

She leaves two sons Paul J. Dion and his wife Sonja of Southbridge and Leo R. Dion of Dudley with which she made her home.  Rita also leaves a grandson Eric Dion and his wife Robin of Worcester.  Rita had four sisters that predeceased her Eva Boucher, Orise Poirier, Lillian Schroth and Louise Cusson all of Wauregan, CT. 

She was born in Wauregan, CT, daughter of the late Benjamin Desroches and Cortelia (Sicard) Desroches and lived in Dudley most of her life.  Rita was a retired shoeworker, working for the Bentley Shoe Co. in Webster. She was a member of the St. Anne’s Society and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.  There are no calling hours. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 at 10 am Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Webster, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements.  Please omit flowers and make donation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
