Robert Paul Kaliszewski (Pop) - Brooklyn, CT January 6, 1937
Pop passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
He was the loving husband of Lucienne Durand Kaliszewski who predeceased him in 2004 and his 1st wife Irene Johnson in 1964.
He was born in Webster, Ma to Frank & Donalda (Lucier) Kaliszewski
He is survived by his son Thomas Lepine & long time companion Leslie Lucas of which he lived with for the past 8 years. His daughter in law Linda Lepine of Brooklyn. His grandchildren, Michael Lepine & long time companion Jen Pavoni, Michelle Beaupre and husband Marc & Matthew Lepine all of Brooklyn. His great grandchildren Zachary Beaupre & wife Gianna of Auburn and Kaylee Beaupre & long time companion Dustin Demers of Thompson. His great great granddaughter Aurora Beaupre. He was always so proud to tell anyone he seen how great it was that he not only was a great grandfather but also a great great grandfather.
He was predeceased by his brothers Leo, Richard, Edward & Frank Kaliszewski, sisters Leona Walker & Ester Cassetari.
He is survived by his brother David Kaliszewski.
He leaves many nieces, nephews & cousins.
He was an Army Veteran having served in the 316th @ 317th Army Security Agency Battalions from 1959-1962.
He worked many years at Bates Shoe Co and 27 years at International Paper Co until his retirement.
He attended St. Louis High School, Webster. He lived most of his life in Thompson, CT where he raised his family. He was a former Coach of Thompson Little League, Parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church, North Grosvenordale and member of Thompson Seniors.
His grandchildren, great grandchildren & his great great granddaughter where the light of his life. He was a kind & very hardworking man who always made sure his family had what they needed and always put them 1st. He loved his Boston sport teams and was always willing to have a great conversation about The Red Sox. He will be deeply missed by his family & his memory cherished.
Per his wishes, services & burial will be private.
