Robert F. Ledoux
1936 – 2026
Robert F. Ledoux, age 90, of Webster, MA, and formerly of Valrico FL and East Hartford, CT. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Meleschnig) Ledoux, and died on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at his daughter’s home surrounded by family.
Robert was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Francis and Lillian (Metcalf) Ledoux. Bob owned and operated Ledoux Electric for many years and also taught electrical at Trinity College in Hartford for several years.
He was a Mason for the past 65 years with membership at the Columbia Lodge in South Glastonbury, CT. In addition, he was a Shriner for 59 years and was a member of Aleppo Temple in Wilmington,MA and the Egypt Temple in Tampa, Florida. He was a Tall Cedar of Lebanon and was a past patron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Connecticut.
He is survived by his family, daughter Cynthia L. Sampson, her husband Frank and their children, Erik Sampson of Webster and Melissa Williams and her husband James of Warwick, RI, a daughter, Denise Sonnenberg and her husband Jerry of Illinois, a son Marc Ledoux and wife Darlene of Connecticut, and a son Glenn Ledoux and his wife Danielle of Tolland, CT; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob was predeceased by a sister, Janice Englehardt and two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services, with burial in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury are private. There are no calling hours. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with arrangements. A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
