Robert J. Pelletier Sr.

Oxford – Robert J. Pelletier Sr., 83, passed away on Saturday September 10, 2022.

Robert was born in Southbridge, MA on March 12, 1939, son of the late John Bathies Pelletier and Mary Ann (Pauquin) Pelletier.  Robert was the custodial supervisor for the UMass Memorial Medical Center for many years prior to his retirement.  Robert served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was an ardent supporter of the Police Association; he was also a longtime member of the Singletary Rod & Gun Club of Oxford.  Robert very much enjoyed his hobby of wood working and traveling.

Robert is survived by his loving wife June M. (Gagnon) Pelletier; his sons Robert J. Pelletier Jr. and his life partner Barbara Clarke, and Christopher P. Pelletier and his wife Roberta Pelletier, all of Oxford; his sister Gloria Senecal of Millbury; his grandchildren Amanda Cote and Jacob Pelletier.  Robert was predeceased by his brothers John, George, Raymond, and Leo Pelletier, and by two sisters Jacqueline Bonin and Jeane Aramini.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday September 21, 2022 in St. Roch's Catholic Church, 332 Main Street Oxford, MA;  followed by a remembrance gathering at 5:00 pm in the Century Sportsman's Club, 531 Rochdale Street Auburn, MA.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
