Roland A. Gagnon
1966 - 2025
Shrewsbury - Roland A. Gagnon passed away on October 27, 2025, taking his final breath free from pain and finally wrapped in the calm and comfort he deserved.
He lived life on his own terms — with wit, stubborn charm, and a quiet understanding of what really matters. His presence left an impression on everyone who truly knew him.
Roland found joy in the simple things: a strong cup of coffee, running sound for live bands, and making people laugh even on the hardest days. His home was shared with four cats he adored ,Lilly, Mousey, Penelope, and Beans.
He is survived by his siblings Merrilee Buckley, Jeffrey Gagnon, and Laurel McClusky. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Alice Gagnon, and siblings Lynn Ledger, David Gagnon, and Jeralyn Bell.
Roland also leaves behind Sherrie Day, who stood beside him with compassion, strength, and love through every chapter of his journey.
He also leaves behind extended family and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He grew up in Leicester, Massachusetts, where his roots were planted long before he made Shrewsbury his home.
A public memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster, MA 01570.
“Love Bee Eternal.”
