Roman Michael Mitchell
March 9, 1985 – August 4, 2025
Roman Mitchell, 40, of Worcester, passed away on August 4, 2025. Born on March 9, 1985, Roman was the beloved son of Michelle (Babbitt) Brannen and was predeceased by his father, Roman Brannen.
Roman was a devoted father to his children , Paris Russell, Serenity Mitchell , Bentley Mitchell , Ariana Mitchell , and Malaki Irizarry , and his step daughter Jazmine Oclair, who were the greatest joy of his life. He also shared his life and love with his significant other, Jennifer Irizarry, who stood by his side through life’s adventures and challenges.
He cherished every moment with his family, from taking his kids to church and sharing his faith, to planning adventures at the lake, the carnivals or even just going for a bike ride or a simple walk to the park. Roman had a gift for making memories and filling his children’s lives with love, laughter, and guidance.
A graduate of Bay Path High School, Roman went on to work in welding, construction, renovation, and roofing, where his tireless work ethic and skill were admired by all who knew him. Outside of work, he enjoyed building and working on RC cars, watching NASCAR, and collecting his signature hats, glasses, and jewelry. He found joy in simple pleasures of being outdoors, surrounded by family, and living life with a generous and adventurous spirit.
Roman will be deeply missed by his children, and all who were blessed to know him.
The serenity prayer.
God, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference. Amen.
A private ceremony will be held in his honor. For details, please contact his daughter, Paris Russell at +1 508-772-2414.
