Sally I. Heeps, age 82, formerly of East Douglas, died on  Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Brookside Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Webster.

Sally was born in Oxford, MA, daughter of the late Leo H. and Rita M. (Childs) Heeps.  She lived in the Douglas area all her life.

Sally will be remembered as a kind, caring and funny woman.  It has often been said that when you met Sally, you were a friend for life.  She was a craftsman who enjoyed crocheting.  She crocheted many blankets over years for so many people.  She would make blankets for the ministers (baptismal baby blankets), and for nurses who had an expecting mother, and also for members of her family.  It gave her great joy knowing that her blanket kept you warm.

Sally is survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, by her sisters, Leona Lincoln and Maryann M. Boutin, and by a brother; Leo Heeps Jr.
