Danielson, CT – Sandra K. (Benoit) Blanchette, 76, passed away at Hartford Hospital on July 6, 2021.

Sandra was born in Hartford, Ct on March 28, 1945, to Flora and Frank Benoit.  Sandra married the love of her life Raymond on May 10, 1963, at the First Congregational Church Parsonage in Norwichtown, CT.  Sandra worked at Danielson Curtain, ACME Cotton, American White Cross, then Brooks Distribution; she finally retired at the age of 62, but continued to work part-time as a homemaker.

Sandra is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years Raymond L. Blanchette; her son Brian Blanchette and his fiancée Jessica Mobley; her son Christopher Blanchette and his wife Bethany; six grandchildren: Brooke, Emily, Nick, Kyler, Sonia, and Devin Blanchette; he sister Linda and her two brothers Edward and David Benoit, her sister Debra Butler; she also leaves behind her best friends of fifty-seven years Donald and Elaine Eastman.  Sandra was predeceased by her parents, her son Raymond F. Blanchette, her sister Laura Knight, her brother Ricky Benoit, and her sister Kathleen Ross.

Sandra’s family will hold a Celebration of Sandra’s Life at a later date.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
