Scott Robert Blake - Born March 26, 1984. Passed on December 25, 2022. He was survived by his parents Douglas Blake of Palenville, NY and Mary Calder of Frankfort, NY. His three sisters Angela Kitzmiller and her husband Donald Kitzmiller of Warwick, MA, Stephanie Blake of Ilion, NY and Elizabeth Calder of Herkimer, NY; His niece Lexis Raymond of Warwick, MA and his nephews William Kitzmiller of Warwick, MA and Colten Hladysz of Ilion, NY.
Scott was a very hard worker. Always doing his best to give it his all. He was a proud man and his work showed that. He made friends no matter where he went. He had the best sense of humor, and the most contagious laugh and people couldn’t help but laugh too. They say you can judge a man’s heart by his love for animals and Scott’s heart overflowed with his love and empathy for animals. Scott had what some would call an old soul. He loved the classics and jumped at the chance to see the old cars or listen to an old tune. He was a passionate supporter of the 2nd amendment and would have given all he had to the veterans.
Scott’s love for his family went beyond measure. He was a loyal son, brother, and friend. He never wanted anyone he called family to struggle even if he did not have all that he needed in his life. He was very protective of everyone that meant anything to him. Scott knew that trust was not given, it was earned.
Scott’s in Heaven now, at peace, and in the loving arms of God. He will be greatly missed by us all here but has connected again on the other side to that broken chain.
A Celebration of Scott's Life will be held on Thursday January 5, 2023 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
